How To Remove Coffee Stains From Carpet

Once the carpet got coffee stains and dried, it may start ruining. Now days carpet often comes with stain-holders. Carpet is one of the decorative items in the home. And they are expensive; therefore housewives always take care of the carpet. But don't worry here are some remedies to remove coffee stains from the carpet and can save it for durability.

As soon as carpet get some coffee stains, blot them with white, clean cloth so that the cloth will absorb coffee liquid. It is because coffee liquid may not enter into bottom. Then blot from the out side of the stain in order to prevent from spreading stains on larger area. Do not let them dry.

If the coffee stains appeared on the carpet use vinegar solution to remove stains. Prepare solution with mixing 1/3 cup white vinegar in 2/3 cup tepid water. Use sponge or white clean cotton cloth. Then sponge the area with the solution then blot it again with white dry cloth. Sponge the area with normal clean water and blot it again with white clean cloth. If the stains reappeared on the carpet, repeat the process until stains are being removed from the carpet.

When you use this method, be careful that the vinegar solution should not be dye from the cloth into the carpet. If the solution dyes into the carpet the stains may reappear on it. Therefore do not rub or scrub it speedily or heavily. This kind of rubbing may also cause to spread the stains around the area. Before using vinegar solution read instruction carefully. You also have to use hand gloves to avoid side effects of vinegar.

Another method can be used to remove coffee stains from the carpets. This method, generally use in the restaurants. There is freeze in every home. Mix some a tablespoon salt in some ice cubes. Apply the solution to the stains area and scrub it with slice of lemon until the stains remove. It also works best and gives better results.

These two methods are very simple and cheaper. Second method is best for the carpet that dos not have miner holes. It means the solution cannot dye into the carpet.
